O que é isso do RSS? E os feeds o que são? Porque é que anda tanta gente a falar disso e para que servem afinal?

Preciso de vos recomendar este video da Common Craft. A Common Craft faz uns tutoriais excelentes sobre muitas das tecnologias usadas na web.

Eu uso o agregador FeedBlitz para seguir os meus blogs favoritos. Basicamente em vez de ser uma aplicação que eu consulto, o feedblitz reune uma vez por dia as actualizações dos feeds que subscrevo e envia-me um e-mail com o resumo das novidades.

What's with RSS? What about feeds? What are they for, and what's all the hype about them?

The above video is one of Common Craft tutorials. They have excellent videos explaining most of internet technologies.

To track feeds I use FeedBlitz. Instead of being an application I have to use, it just gather all updates from blogs I want to follow and once a day it e-mails me a summary of what is new.
