A técnica usada nestas ilusões é chamada de Scanimotion, está patenteada, e há alguns livros à venda que a usam. Sigam o link para uma explicação com mais pormenor. Não se trata mesmo de uma ilusão, apenas no sentido em que a televisão e o cinema são ilusões. O busílis consiste em criar seis fotogramas, cortá-los em fatias, e dispor as fatias sequencialmente numa única folha. Uma folha com ranhuras de tamanho apropriado, proporcionais às fatias, permite a ilusão ao mostrar um fotograma de cada vez, ou algo assim…

These videos on youtube are based on the animation technique “scanimation” patented by Rufus Butler Seeder. It’s not really an illusion, only in the sense as TV or cinema are also illusion, but  still very interesting. The key is that there are 6 “photograms” cut into slices and arranged on the same sheet. The moving grate allows for only one photogram to be displayed at a time… or something like that.
