Em Itália, fãs ameaçaram a direcção do AC Milan para extorquir bilhetes. A ameaça consistia em arremessar objectos para o relvado, de modo a o clube ser multado, caso não lhes fossem vendidos bilhetes para a final da Liga dos Campiões.

Já entre os ingleses, os 40 mil adeptos do Liverpool sem bilhete armaram tamanha confusão que nem sequer quem tinha bilhete conseguiu entrar no estádio. Ao que parece chegaram a entrar adeptos com bilhetes falsos e ficaram de fora outros com bilhetes verdadeiros, que ainda por cima se viram no meio da confusão entre a polícia e os que tentavam forçar a entrada.

Italians threatned the directors of AC Milan to get tickets. Either they provided them, or they would throw objects to the pitch and the club would be fined.

40 thousand Liverpool fans with no tickets travelled to Athens. Apparently the resulting confusion as such that fans with fake ticktets managed to get in the stadium, and some with valid ones where left outside, caught between the police and those trying to force their way in the stadium.
