Numa iniciativa em São Paulo, com a colaboração da Daimler-Chrysler entre outras, uma carreira de transportes públicos vai funcionar a hidrogénio. A fonte de hidrogénio vai consumir electricidade, que no Brazil será em grande parte de origem hidroeléctrica.

The city of São Paulo in Brazil will run a few buses of their public transport on hydrogen. Together with companies like Daimler-Chrysler, the city will implement on one hand the bus line, and on the other the hydrogen supply, each will use up electricity, which in Brazil is greatly of hydroelectric origin.
